The heavy rain that started at around 4:30 pm waterlogged one of the busiest roads in Kathmandu city leaving the commuters stranded in the evening rush hour with many unable to get home in time.
However, this is not the first time Kathmandu residents faced such hardship as most of the roads in the Capital face similar plight during monsoon in lack of proper drainage system.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division forecasts brief rain or thundershowers likely to occur at a few places in the country tomorrow.
