President Bidhya Devi Bhandari was welcomed by her Indian counterpart Pranab Mukherjee at the latter’s residence in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Gopal Baglay, Spokesperson of Indian Ministry of External Affairs, tweeted a photo of President Bhandari receiving ceremonial welcome at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan. Indian PM Narendra Modi was also present during the welcome ceremony.
President Bhandari left for New Delhi on Monday on a five-day state visit. Bhandari was received by India’s State Minister for Women and Children Development Krishna Raj at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
