In a district hospital of Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh, a sick elderly person was lying ill for two days outside the Emergency Ward. Forget about providing him with treatment, nobody even looked his way.
The media reached the hospital and after seeing him, the officials in the hospital strapped the elderly man to the stretcher and began his primary treatment. The helpless elderly man was lying without clothes in the scorching heat of the waiting room outside the Emergency Ward of the Muzaffarnagar District Hospital. The man named Baru is said to be the resident of Rota village in Meerut.
Despite the presence of the policemen outside the waiting room, none spared a thought to his condition. Doctors or any other employee of the district hospital too chose to ignore the ailing old man.
As soon as the media personnel got the information and arrived at the hospital, the staff of the District Hospital took the elderly to the emergency ward and lent him on the stretcher.
District Chief Medical Officer PS Mishra arranged food along with treatment for the ailing man. District CMO PS Mishra has said that the condition of the elderly man is due to old age. In addition, he doesn’t seem to be in sound mind. It seems that someone has left his old father here. If a doctor or employee’s negligence comes into light, then action will be taken.
