The 19-year-old, who was found busy packing his luggage before leaving for his home from the district-headquarters Kusma following the completion of SEE,

shared that his dream for this moment is to regain his health and go to a college for higher education. He appeared in the SEE from the Nawajagrit Secondary School, Tilahar. Krishna’s father Man Bahadur, the sole bread winner for the family, is a daily wage earner.

The Lamichhane family owns a meagre quantity of land. Krishna’s mother is also an asthma patient for long. Man Bahadur said he felt the earth shatter when he knew that his son’s both kidneys were not functioning. His son was diagnosed of kidney failure two months ago and his eyes are wet since then.

Doctors suggested him to undergo kidney transplant as soon as possible and the transplantation of two kidneys is estimated to cost Rs 2 million and to afford this cost, as Man Bahadur said, is beyond their capacity.
