The much-hyped and anticipated Nepali film, Prem Geet 2, is slated to open in over 80 screens around the country starting today. The film, a sequel to 2016’s hit musical Prem Geet, will trace, according to the producers, similar motifs as its predecessor, but this time the film is slated to bring onto screen a “multi-cultural story of two individuals from Nepal and Burma.” “The film is a multi-cultural story. Portraying a love story between two individuals—one Nepali and one from Myanmar—the film is also a love story between countries,” the film’s director Ram Sharan Pathak said. The film, according to Pathak, has been shot in various locations in Nepal, Myanmar, and Thailand.
