Talking about Newari dish, choila comes to our mind at first. Choila is one of the most popular dish in Nepal after Dalbhat and MO:MO. Everyone loves Choila in Nepal. Nowadays, there are many varieties of VEG choila as well. That is why, it is really popular among the vegetarian also. Brought up in Newari Family, I have learned many Newari dishes from my parents. Today I will be showing you how to make the choila in Traditional and Authentic method as made by Newars from Kathmandu Valley in Nepal.
Traditionally, Choila is made with BUFF meat. As I live in Germany, It is very hard to find Buffalo’s meat. So, I have used Mutton instead. (MUTTON FILLET) is the most tender part which we can get.
